The JH boys XC Team competed at district on Monday, October 14th and won first place as a team with seven runners finishing in the top 10. The first place finisher was Branson Sanders with 12:24. Fourth was Watson Evans with 13:34. Rickey Melendez was fifth place with 13:37. Anthony Torres was sixth place with 13:52. Jaryn Flores was eighth place with 14:19. Easton Smith was ninth place with 14:23. Court Conway was tenth place with 14:25 followed by Edgar Mendoza in twelfth place with 14:26. Hayden Powell was thirteenth place with 15:06. Zayden Lopez was fourteenth place with 15:16. Briar Miller was fifteenth place with 15:29. Justin Bush was sixteenth place with 15:48. Aarynn Laseman was nineteenth place with 16:11. Augustine Ortega rounded out the runners at twenty second place with a time of 16:37. Sundown’s boys team received a score of 23! Way to bring home the gold, Roughnecks!
