Senior Spotlight - Alex Delecerda

Alex started her journey in Sundown in the three year old program and now she will be graduating with the Class of 2021. Alex’s favorite memory from elementary school was being part of the “crayon fixers” along side Brayden in Mrs. Farrar’s class. When Alex was in middle school her favorite part was when her and Brayden got caught watching youtube videos in band instead of playing hot cross buns. Moving into high school she will never forget when her and Emily almost broke the bathroom doors in the facility and in the locker room. Alex was a proud member of the National Honor Society and a voice of the 2021 class while being part of the Student Council. Alex's all time favorite class was being part of Mrs.Goodman’s first period her junior year. Alex plans on continuing her education at the beautiful school of Hawaii Pacific University and she will be studying Marine Biology. She will live by Coach Elam's famous quote of “GO TO WORK” to get her through the hard times. Alex knows that whenever she needs guidance she can always turn to her family and role models. She sees her coaches as someone she asks for encouragement. Alex has some words of advice to leave with the underclassmen,  “Keep your head held high and trust those who put trust in you.” We want to wish Alex DeLaCerda the best of luck in her future to come.
