Bergundi Hoover glady became a Sundown Roughette her freshman year. One of Bergundi’s favorite memories were her sophomore year in Mrs. Torrez's class. Autumn and Bergundi were messing around and Bergundi lifted one of the legs of her chair up and she flew into the middle of the aisle. She was laughing so hard she started to cry. Autumn got up and joined in the fun. In the end, they were not allowed to sit beside each other for the rest of the year.
Bergundi is involved in powerlifting and track. Mrs. Goodman's class was her favorite high school class. She is not sure where she wants to attend college, but she is interested in studying criminal justice. Bergundi’s mom and coaches have been a great role model for her throughout her life and also in school. Bergundi says,”My mother is always working hard and trying to be better than anyone else.” Her coaches have also inspired her to be a better athlete and they have pushed her beyond what she even thought she was capable of. Bergundi’s advice for underclassmen is, “ go to all the games, do spirit week, go to prom. Get everything you can out of high school because it flies by and before you know it, you’re walking across the stage.” Great advice, Bergundi.
