Brooke Baldwin joined Roughneck Nation last year as a junior and is already about to graduate with the Class of 2022 in May. Brooke's favorite memory in high school is when she traveled with the Sundown marching band to compete in the state marching competition in San Antonio.
Despite being here a short time, Brooke has participated in many activities at SHS. Brooke has competed in varsity tennis, UIL Science, and Marching Band. She earned first place in Chemistry for UIL, placed 6th at State Marching Band in 2020, and won 3rd place at district for girls doubles tennis. Brooke's favorite class is chemistry and this year is enrolled in dual credit chemistry as a senior. She is planning to go to college at Tarleton and major in engineering.
Brooke has looked to her brothers as her role models and her advice to underclassmen is, “Do all you can because you're the only one responsible for your success or failure.” Best wishes to Brooke Baldwin and her class as they graduate as the class of 2022!
