Kevin James Garcia has been a Roughneck since the 3-year old program and has become very popular in the high school football community through his high school years earning many accolades from coaches and associations all over. Kevin’s Freshmen year he placed 2nd in the State Marching Contest for band. His Sophomore year he was a regional qualifier for powerlifting. Kevin's Junior year he was a regional champ in powerlifting, advancing to state taking 2nd place. He was 1st team all district middle linebacker, 2nd team all district offensive tackle, and 2nd team all area middle linebacker. Adding the awards, Kevin was a Top Linebacker in the Class of 2022 named by Lonestarpreps.com. Kevin is now striving to make it back to state in powerlifting as a senior to claim his first place title.
After high school Kevin is looking to go to Texas Tech and study Exercise Science. He looks up to his parents to guide him as role models. His favorite high school class was Spanish with Mrs. Torrez and his favorite middle school memory was gluing all of the notebooks together in science class.
