
Nathan and Justin won their semifinal room and are headed to state!! They are now debating for 1st and 2nd, but they are headed to State!!!!!


Academic UIL is officially underway with the CX Debate contest today in Lubbock. The prelim rounds are complete and the teams of Rayden Flores and Emily Rodgers and Justin Bush and Nathan Flores have made the top 4 and are in the semifinals. Top 2 teams from today will advance to the state meet.





The 7th Graders have been out and about selling blankets for their fundraiser for the past few weeks. Not only are they fundraising to purchase school supplies for their middle school again, but they have used this opportunity to get out and get to know their community.
The fundraiser ends tomorrow! Here is your last chance to purchase a blanket!
Blankets are $35! They are very large and extremely soft!

Congratulations to Kaytlin Clausen, Avy McGlasson, and Jaymee Medrano for being recognized as one of the best in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Kaytlin and Avy were selected as a part of the TGCA 2A All-State Team and Jaymee earned the distinction of TGCA Academic All-State. These ladies have put in a lot of hard work in both the classroom and in competition to represent our school with distinction.




Sundown ISD Family: The SPECO Exceptional Transition Center (ETC) students are scheduled to bring their Food Truck to Sundown on February 11th! This is going to be their GRAND OPENING with a Red Ribbon Cutting! The Levelland News Press is scheduled to be here! The ETC students plan to serve the school and anyone in the community that would like to come. The ETC students will be serving your choice of a crispy chicken salad or loaded baked potatoes, drink and dessert for $10.00. You can use the link below to order your food. This link will help them to know how much food they need to purchase for this event. There will also be a QR code on the flyers that will be placed in the lounges, offices, and around town. This QR code will take you to an order form.
The ETC students and staff plan to arrive in Sundown at 10:30 to set up. The Ribbon Cutting will be at 11:00 and they will start serving after that! This is an exciting day for these students and staff. They are so excited to share this with all of you!
