It is with great honor that Sundown Middle School welcomes Mrs. Marissa Zapata to our school family, as she has officially accepted the position of Secretary at SMS!

We are excited to add Mrs. Zapata to our team and look forward to the skills, dedication, and positivity she will bring to our campus. We know she will be a wonderful asset to our students, staff, and the entire Sundown community.

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Zapata and extending her a warm welcome to Sundown Middle School. She will begin full-time with us after Christmas break!

Sundown Middle School is keeping the tradition alive with Christmas Trivia! Staff and students race to submit the correct answer through a Google Form, and while there have been a few “formal complaints” filed by both groups, rest assured, justice always prevails! We love the banter, the competition, and most of all, the Christmas spirit of love, laughter, and family that fills SMS during this season. Congratulations to this past week’s winners!
